Salted Caramel Sauce
The Solt Company's Himalayan Salt is so versatile that you can use it to add flavour to your favourite dessert. Here's a recipe to make the crowd-favourite salted caramel sauce.
What do you need?
- 200g of sugar
- 90g of salted butter
- 120ml of heavy cream
- 1 tsp of The Solt Company's Himalayan Salt
How do you do it?
Melt the sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. We recommend you do this with a wooden spoon. Once the sugar is melted, add the salted butter and mix well till completely melted. Slowly drizzle the heavy cream into the mixture and let it boil for one minute (Be very careful with this step as there may be splashing that occurs). Then, remove from heat and stir in The Solt Company's Himalayan Salt. Allow the sauce to slightly cool before using it for your desserts.
